KDC: Explanation for business result in Q4/2010

Kinh Do Corporation (HOSE: KDC) explained the consolidated income report in Quarter 4/2010 as follows:
* Revenue in Quarter 4/2010: VND 598,728,537,164
* Revenue in Quarter 4/2009: VND 454,472,719,499
* Increase in revenue: VND 144,255,817,665
* Profit before tax in Quarter 4/2010: VND 113,136,392,539
* Profit before tax in Quarter 3/009: VND 67,049,905,328
* Increase in Profit before tax: VND 46,086,487,211
Reason:
Revenue and profit in Quarter 4/2010 were higher than in Quarter 4/2009 because the Company’s products have seasonality. Lunar New Year is the biggest season in a year, and the 2010 Lunar New Year came sooner than the previous year, so revenue in Quarter 4/2010 was higher than the same period of 2009.
