NKD: Explanation for a profit fluctuation in quarter 3/2009

North Kinhdo Food Joint Stock Company (NKD: NORTH.KINHDO) has explained for a profit fluctuation in quarter 3/2009 in comparison with that in quarter 2/2009 as follow:

* Revenue in quarter 3/2009 reached VND230 billion, increased VND87 billion (62%) in comparison with that in quarter 2/2009 and increased 20% in comparison with that of the same period last year. The main reason was the mid-autumn reason reached a good result with production increased over 20% in comparison with that in 2008.

* Therefore, profit before tax in quarter 3/2009 reached VND43.8 billion and increased 78% (VND19.2 billion) in comparison with that in quarter 2/2009 (VND24.6 billion). The accumulation profit before tax of the first 09 months reached VND74.7 billion and increased 78.5% in the same period 2008.

* Financial statements in the first 09 months 2009 included figures audited by Ernst & Young Vietnam Co., Ltd. in the first 06 months 2009. Financial statements in quarter 3/2009 has not audited and revered financial provision.
