The recent of shares on the HCM City Stock Exchange slowed this morning, with the VN-Index adding just 0.35 per cent compared to yesterday's close to reach 481.26 points.

Trading value dropped 32.4 per cent over yesterday morning's level to VND743.76 billion (US$35.4 million) on a volume of 54.9 million shares.

Shares tracked by the VN30 INDEX were mixed, with 14 gainers, 12 losers and 4 others closing unchanged. The index rose 0.33 per cent, standing at 564.48 points.

Meanwhile, on the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index reached 62.37 points, a 0.24 per cent decline.

Losers overwhelmed gainers 118-54.

Market value fell by around VND100 billion ($4.7 million) compared to yesterday morning to VND310.6 billion ($14.7 million). Nearly 37.5 million shares were traded.
The HNX30, representing the northern bourse's top shares, edged up 0.01 per cent to 121.96 points.
