SDB: Explanation for the change of over 10% in operating result in QII- 2012

According to the Financial Statement Quarter II/2012, profit after tax is -VND 8,693,284,187 with a decrease of 172.51% compared to Quarter II/2011 (-VND 3,190,053,623). Song Da 207 JSC explained the decrease in operating result in QII/2012 as follows:

- Net sales decreased 42.78% due to slow liquidation progress;

- Rate of administration and financial expenses/ net revenue increased 5.1% in compare to QII/2011 (9.6%);

- Rate of Cost of goods sold/ Net sales of QII/2012 is 104.8%, increased 10.1% in compare to QII/2011 (94.7%).

There were difficulties in capital lacking of the owners which lengthened the projects’s progress, especially high buildings constructions. With the whole package constracts types, adjustments of the materials prices were limited that caused the loss.
