Vietnam’s stock exchanges will trade for an extra 15 minutes daily from June, Thoi Bao Kinh Te Vietnam newspaper said, citing Nguyen Son, a senior official of the State Securities Commission.

The Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange and the Hanoi Securities Trading Center currently trade for only two hours in the morning.

In addition, the State Securities Commission is working with the two bourses, the Vietnam Securities Depository Center and securities companies to make sure the technology and personnel can accommodate a trading session in the afternoon, the newspaper said.
