Vegetable and seafood export company Trangcorp's parent company has reported an after-tax profit of VND34 billion ($1.5 million) in 2015, an increase of five per cent year-on-year.
The company earned more than VND450 billion (US$20 million) in revenue during the year, up eight per cent against 2014.
In the fourth quarter of 2015, Trangcorp earned a net revenue of more than VND120 billion ($5.4 million), a slight decrease of three per cent year-on-year.
It suffered a loss of more than VND6 billion ($270,000) and VND5.8 billion ($260,000) in the fourth quarter of 2015 and in the same period of 2014, respectively.
At the end of 2015, the company' total assets were worth more than VND400 billion ($18 million), up 25 per cent compared to the beginning of the year.
During 2015, inventories decreased by eight per cent, falling from a value of VND97 billion ($4.3 million) to touch VND89.5 billion ($4 million).
Trangcorp has been listed on the Ha Noi Stock Exchange with the code TFC since November 2015. Established in 2004, the company is now one of the leading producers and exporters of vegetable and seafood products
